Dr. Mahesh Sharma at present is the Union Minister of State for Tourism & Culture (Independent Charge), Government of India.

He is a doctor by profession, a social activist by passion and a politician by compassion. Fondly called as ‘Doctor Saab’ by his supporters and opponents alike, Dr. Sharma is known for his people centric approach, hard work, social commitment & administrative capabilities.
